Power Electronics drives, once again, zero-emission mobility at the Mutua Madrid Open
Power Electronics reaffirms its commitment to both sports and sustainability by renewing its sponsorship for the latest edition of the Mutua Madrid Open. Spearheading sustainable mobility, the multinational company will electrify Spain's premier tennis tournament with 22 charging stations, ensuring zero-emission transportation.

Once again, Power Electronics demonstrates its dedication to environmental responsibility and elite sports by renewing its sponsorship of the Mutua Madrid Open. The 23rd edition of this world-class tennis tournament will take place from April 21st to May 4th at the Caja Mágica in Madrid.
For another year, the multinational will serve as the official provider of electric vehicle charging stations, deploying 22 chargers strategically throughout the venue. This robust infrastructure, capable of simultaneously charging up to 44 electric vehicles, guarantees zero-emission transportation for players, organizers, staff, and attendees. This effort solidifies the Mutua Madrid Open's status as a global leader in sustainable events.
Through this continued partnership, Power Electronics will provide over 1,900 charging sessions during the 14-day tournament, resulting in a saving of 49 tons of CO2, equivalent to planting 2,227 trees. This initiative underscores the company's unwavering commitment to reducing its carbon footprint and promoting sustainable practices in high-performance sports.
The Mutua Madrid Open, one of the most prestigious tournaments on the ATP Masters 1000 and WTA 1000 circuits, is held annually at the Caja Mágica in Madrid. Played on clay courts, it brings together the world's top tennis players for two weeks, attracting thousands of spectators from around the globe.
