We will unveil our plan to decarbonize the continent during our participation in All Energy Australia, an event where energy storage and Grid Forming technology will be the main focus of our participation.

Power Electronics will transform the renewable energy landscape in Oceania with a forecast of 36 GW installed

We will take another step in its decarbonization plan for Oceania by participating in All Energy Australia on October 23 and 24. This will further solidify our leadership position in the region, with projects planned to implement our solutions, exceeding 36 GW of installed capacity in the coming years.

The role of Grid Forming technology in the energy transition

Ensuring that large-scale photovoltaic plants maintain grid stability is crucial in a context where renewable energy is becoming increasingly significant in the energy mix of all countries, particularly in Australia, which contributed 73% on September 9 the highest percentage recorded in its history.

Grid Forming technology, implemented in our energy storage inverters, guarantees a stable and robust electrical system. It prevents loss of power in the grid and makes solar energy a reliable and functional generation source for the electrical grid.

This technology will be essential at All Energy Australia, where all attendees can discover at booth XX113 how we integrate it into the PCSM and Multi PCSM models, the only medium-voltage energy storage inverters designed to provide advanced grid capabilities, compatible with all battery technologies and allowing connection to up to four independent BESS systems in the case of the Multi PCSM.

Solar Energy: Australia’s economic engine

The country’s commitment to becoming a renewable energy “superpower” has turned clean energy into an economic driver, potentially creating up to 33,000 new jobs to meet its 2030 goals.

This progress in the energy transition is the result of Power Electronics’ over 20 years of efforts in Australia, where success hinges on developing high-quality products manufactured entirely in Europe, such as our HEM solar inverters designed to simplify on-site installation, and the DC/DC converter, which maximizes the benefits of solar plants by enabling energy storage through batteries.

The positioning in the country is closely linked to the quality of our products; Power On Support technical assistance service also plays a crucial role. This service is key to the company’s success, providing quick and efficient support 24/7 for all projects in the region. It is backed by a 2,800 m² warehouse stocked with a complete range of spare parts and a team of over 45 technicians.

An event to explore the latest trends

The event, held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, will feature top-tier conferences that will allow all attendees to gain deeper insights into the sector’s direction.

Ander García, Grid Connection Manager at Power Electronics, will deliver the event’s only presentation on Grid Forming from 1:40 PM to 3:00 PM. The presentation will focus on the benefits of this technology and its impact on the National Electricity Market (NEM), which is essential for replacing the mechanical inertia previously provided by Synchronous Generators.

Business Development experts, and Product and Applications specialists will be available to assist all attendees interested in successfully completing their projects.
